Great Finish for the Storm!

On the whole, the 2001/02 season for Manchester Storm was a disappointing one with them finishing bottom of the ISL table.  But, the excellent performance at the playoff weekend making the final and then losing to the Steelers in on a penalty shootout they redeemed themselves somewhat.  Well Done Storm!

I have been really busy since the playoff weekend and have been unable to update the site in this time.  I will continue to update the site during the summer but probably not as often as during the season.

More New NHL Figures

The excellent McFarlane Toys range of NHL figures has grown again with the 5th series being announced for release in October 2002 and a special Team Canada tribute also being announced.  I have added a new page to View From Block 107 including images of these new figures.  More at... Series 7 Completed

Series 7 of the In The Crease Manchester Storm Online Hockey Card Collection has been completed with the addition of four new cards and the back of the title card.  These have been added now as I will be in Nottingham at weekend for the playoff finals so will be unable to do the usual update.  More at... Six New Pens Cards Added

Six new cards have been added to the 2001/02 series of the Penguins cards - five of the six players added were acquired by the Pens in the run up to the trade deadline.  More at... The Igloo

Four Storm Cards Added to Site

Four double-sided cards have been added to Series 7 of the Manchester Storm Online Hockey Card Collection in what will be the penultimate update to the series.  More at... The Shelter.

Canada Win Gold!

I realise this is old news now (sorry for lack of updates!) as it happened a fortnight ago but congratulations to Mario and Team Canada on their Gold Medal at the Olympics, on the day they werethe better team and deserved the win.
